Everything Folds, Unfolds, Refolds October 9 to December 20 2026 Gazelli Art House Baku Gazelli Art House Baku presents Everything Folds, Unfolds, Refolds, a group exhibition bringing together Manal AlDowayan, Sophia Al-Maria, Aziza Kadyri, Raya Kassisieh, Almagul Menlibayeva, and Elnara Nasirli. Curated by Auronda Scalera and Dr. Alfredo Cramerotti, the exhibition explores how cultural histories and inherited forms are carried forward, transformed, and given renewed meaning through contemporary artistic practice. Across distinct practices and geographies, the artists engage with ideas of memory, material transformation, landscape, and the body. Traditional forms of making encounter new technologies, while personal and collective histories resurface in unexpected ways. Rather than approaching the past as fixed or distant, the exhibition considers it as an active presence that continues to shape the contemporary. Everything Folds, Unfolds, Refolds reflects on what persists through change and how forms, materials, and ideas can be continually reimagined for the present.
